Abstract

|
We developed the electronic chart system for local clinics being able to maintain whole patients' records, experiment results and images. Usually PACS and HIS are separated in hospital because of technical restriction, cost and DB compatibility.
For
success of PACS, it should be merged with HIS and reduce steps to see patients' data including medical records and image. So, we tried it for local clinic and have installed it at several local clinics. This paper introduce the major concepts and
experiences to develop and install the electronic chart system treating patients' whole data-medical records, experiment results images and so on.
